Press Set-up Operator - 3rd Shift

Summary

We have an immediate need for a Press Set-up Operator. The Press Set-up Operator will assemble tooling, set-up and maintain presses, and assist operators in producing a quality product.

Specific Duties

  • Assemble tooling and powder for the order being pressed.
  • Thoroughly clean previous tooling as it is removed and set-up press to run a new order.
  • Inspect tooling as needed and maintain presses, make adjustments to eliminate quality defects.
  • Set-up automatic pick-off and weight control units adjust according to the order label.
  • Scan production information.
  • Operate press and tip set as needed.

Education & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • HMI or strong computer skills preferred
  • Technical training and/or certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to follow a Control Plan, associated defect criteria.
  • Follow assignments and instructions communicated orally and carried out by standing guidelines.
  • Routine problems solved by the operator using learned knowledge of insert style, production processes.
  • Recurring problems and decisions receive supervisor and/or engineer attention.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
