Role Synopsis:
This position works with all related Manufacturing plants worldwide, Product Engineering, Technology, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering in coating equipment installation, process improvement and troubleshooting.
The position also evaluates and develops global coating process standards for manufacturing with technical support from Technology.
Key
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Develop project plans and budgets, team selection, assign activities, conducting progress reviews, launching corrective actions, assuring all EHS guidelines and requirements are met and reporting progress to plant management.
Provide guidance for trouble-shooting, quality improvements, complex problems; Lead teams in a systematic approach to resolution using data-driven analysis / decision making; Follow-through actions through implementation and validation.
Ability to develop understanding of complex and evolving processes as required to lead, implement, and sustain systems improvements.
Work with purchasing and outside vendors to obtain necessary capital equipment.
Develop the preparation of functional specifications and evaluate alternatives for equipment supporting CVD / PVD operations.
Process support:
Inspection of critical coating characteristics, historical analysis of equipment operation, quality, etc.
Equipment support:
Advanced preventative maintenance, technical troubleshooting (including electrical / electronic).
Procedures, working instructions:
Development, implementation, training, and auditing.
Evaluate skill levels of technicians/operators, develop training materials, guides and train team members for improving team and equipment performance.
Integrate coating results into manufacturing systems to continually monitor and improve performance.
Essential
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
3
years' project management experience
Exceptional guidance and team work abilities is a must
Bachelor s degree Chemical or Materials Science Engineering
Must be willing to travel 20-30% globally
